DESCRIPTION:This is the year we get out and enjoy more of the beautiful world around us! \nPlease join us for a relaxed walk between MacMasters Beach and Putty Beach along Bouddi Coastal Walk. \nWe’ll carpool to the starting point from Newcastle and Lake Macquarie\, stop for lunch along the way then do a car shuffle back to the start. \nExpect to see magnificent coastal views\, including the Tessellated Pavement\, and make new friends on the trail. \nHere are the details: \nWhen: Sunday 15 February\nWalk: Bouddi Coastal Walk\n\nDistance: 9kms\nElevation: approximately 400m\nCost: free*\nWhat To Bring: minimum 1 litre of water per person\, snacks for morning and afternoon tea\, lunch to eat on the beach\, swimmers and a towel if you want to take a dip\, sunscreen and insect repellent\n\n\n*Parking at Putty Beach costs $8 per vehicle per day so please bring some coins to contribute.\n\nWhat To Wear: fully enclosed shoes such as walking boots or joggers/sneakers\, sun-safe clothing and a hat\n\n\n\nImportant Info: we will need to do a car shuffle\, leaving a car or two at the end of the walk so we can drive back to the start. The direction of the walk will be determined closer to the day ie. whether we start at MacMasters Beach or Putty Beach.\n\n\nTiming: We have a meeting point at 8am in Lake Macquarie – please register for the details.
