DESCRIPTION:Newcastle has some beautiful coastline so let’s get out and appreciate it! \nPlease join us for a relaxed walk from Redhead to Merewether along the coast. \nExpect to see magnificent views\, feel sand between your toes and make new friends on the trail. \nWhen: Sunday 8 March from 8:30am\nWalk: Redhead to Merewether\n\nDistance: 11kms\nElevation: approximately 270m\nCost: free\nWhat To Bring: minimum 750ml of water per person\, snacks for morning tea\, lunch to eat on Merewether Beach or cash/card to buy lunch\, swimmers and a towel if you want to take a dip\, sunscreen and insect repellent\n\n\nWhat To Wear: fully enclosed shoes such as walking boots or joggers/sneakers\, sun-safe clothing and a hat – please check the weather forecast to see if you’d like to add a raincoat\n\n\n\nImportant Info: we will need to do a car shuffle\, leaving a car or two at the end of the walk so we can drive back to the start.\n\n\nWant to join us?
