We’ll be working with natural forms and found forest objects\, exploring texture\, shadow and simple composition in a calm\, no-pressure way. \nThis is not a formal art class — it’s a social\, creative pause in the day where you can chat\, unwind\, enjoy a drink and reconnect with drawing in its simplest form. \nAnna will gently guide you through basic techniques for charcoal sketching and ink wash layering. Absolute beginners are very welcome. \n\nWhat’s included:\n\nGuided still life drawing session with charcoal & ink washes\nAll materials provided\nWine + tasty nibbles\nA collection of sketch work to take home\n\n\nThis session is perfect if you:\n\nLove nature but “don’t really draw” (yet)\nWant a creative afternoon that feels grounding and easy\nEnjoy good company\, good wine and making things with your hands\n\nCome solo\, bring a friend\, or make it a shared slow afternoon — this is a cosy\, welcoming Groundswell gathering. \n\nAccessibility / Notes:\nThis is a relaxed\, supportive outdoor session. Please let us know if you have any access or dietary needs. The event is held outdoors and requires walking down an uneven hill to reach the outdoor classroom.
